Brief
Our brief for this stunning Edwardian property in the heart of Battersea was to breathe new life into a dated master suite, family bathroom, and home office. The objective was to transition these spaces from tired, functional rooms into luxurious retreats that reflect the elegance of South West London living.
For the master bedroom and walk-in wardrobe, we curated a sophisticated palette of neutral earthy tones. By layering high-quality textures and bespoke finishes, we created a serene sanctuary that feels both expansive and intimate.
In the family bathroom, the focus shifted to light and airy tones, utilising premium materials to evoke a spa-like atmosphere. Every element was chosen to balance modern luxury with the timeless architectural character of the Edwardian era.
Design Approach
Our approach to this South London renovation was rooted in the philosophy of “modern classic” design – respecting the home’s heritage while introducing contemporary comfort.
For the home office, we departed from the neutral scheme of the bedroom, implementing a cooler, more focused environment. Deep blues and textured wall coverings were used to create a professional yet inspiring workspace that caters to the demands of a modern lifestyle.
Through a collaborative process, we ensured that every corner of the home was optimised for both aesthetics and utility.
From bespoke joinery in the study or office and master bedroom to the careful selection of electrical and plumbing specifications for the en-suite bathroom, our full-service interior design ensured a seamless transformation from concept to completion.
