Brief
This fantastic apartment in the heart of Clapham, Southwest London was in huge need of an update. Our client did not like the spiral staircase, he felt the space needed more light and wanted a general re-design of the living room, kitchen, and guest room.
Design Approach
Having an internal mezzanine meant that the ceilings were high so we ensured that the space was considered with its height in mind.
We added a new kitchen with neutral tones and lots of ambiance lighting throughout. We redesigned the staircase and added new banisters and spindles; transformed the living room by changing the layout and adding more lighting and art. We also turned an unused room into an office with bespoke joinery and sofa beds for guests to feel at complete ease when visiting.
