Brief
Our client approached us to transform the expansive main living room of her stunning penthouse in the Surrey Hills. While the property boasted an impressive architectural footprint, the distinctive shape and multiple large bay windows presented a unique challenge. The primary objective was to breathe new life into the space, creating a sophisticated environment that felt both grand and intimate. We identified an immediate need for intelligent spatial planning and room zoning to ensure the vast area felt cohesive, purposeful, and reflective of a luxury lifestyle.
Design Approach
To achieve a balance of elegance and functionality, we explored various layout configurations that allowed the living room to serve as a multi-functional sanctuary. Our approach focused on defining specific zones for entertaining, relaxing, and quiet reflection, ensuring each area maintained a visual connection to the next.
We integrated highly detailed bespoke joinery and selected a curated palette of luxury furnishings that complemented the property’s unique character. By respecting the original period features of the penthouse while introducing a fresh, contemporary aesthetic, we delivered a timeless interior.
