How Does It Work?
1. Design Planning and Development

We kick off the project with a meeting where we take your brief, understand your requirements, visions, needs and aspirations for your renovation.

At this point we start exploring spatial layouts and define the overall style vision which guides us throughout the project and identifies product choices suitable for your spaces and budget.

This stage requires a lot research to understand your needs, translate them into the spatial functionality and add a concept to it with materials and finishes that will work well in the spaces.
2. Specifications and Tradesmen Briefing

Once our design and concept are approved, we start selecting materials and creating general specifications for tradesmen.

Important: Before undertaking your project it’s essential to brief tradesmen in a clear and consistent manner that reflects the full scope of the works required and the quality of finishes needed so that can provide costs. We create technical specifications with the project requirements that involve spatial planning, joinery, electrical fixings, plumbing fixings and finishes.

During this phase we also start identifying products and materials that will order later on. But first, we create specifications so that the tradesmen can provide costs.
3. Implementation and Installation

Once tradesmen have provided quotes and a timing plan, we provide further support to specify exact positions of lights, electrical outlets, sanitaryware etc. and we finalise product choices and orders, taking product availability, lead-times and any bespoke items into account.

Throughout the build we also offer site visits to answer questions that may arise, oversee quality control of construction finishes, and the installation of all products.

Paula Morrison Interiors is based in Thames Ditton, Surrey. We primarily provide Interior Design Services in Surrey and South West London, but can offer services remotely outside these areas too.
